I am pleased to announce the acquisition of the V. F. Thomas Co. stock of scientific supplies by The Naturalist's Notebook of Seal Harbor, Maine. Created in 2009 by the wife and husband team of artist/photographer Pamelia Markwood and writer/editor Craig Neff, The Naturalist's Notebook began as a two-story shop and natural history deck, and this summer has expanded into a multichannel enterprise with the addition of a website. I thank all of you who have purchased natural history books and supplies from V. F. Thomas Co. and strongly urge you now to direct your support to The Naturalist's Notebook. That is where I will be buying natural history books and supplies from now on.
Until their website lists the supplies they carry, I will continue to post information below about scientific supplies, but inquiries and requests should now be directed to The Naturalist's Notebook via e-mail (info@thenaturalistsnotebook.com), telephone (207-801-2777), or traditional mail (P. O. Box 232, 16 Main Street; Seal Harbor, Maine 04675). Also, be sure to read their blog. It is interesting and exceptionally well written.
