   today: The current name for this species is Centranthus calcitrapae (L.) Dufr.

Valeriana floribus triandris, caule quadrifido, foliis imis bipinnatifidis, seminis pappo plumoso.

English translation:
Valeriana with flowers three-stamened; with a stem four-cleft; with leaf blades the lowest bipinnatifid; [and] of a seed a pappus plumose.
