1933 May 2 through 1950 January 16:
   The circular postmark on the 2 May 1933 cover is approximately 32 mm in diameter. The four horizontal bars to the right of the circle are approximately 6 mm on center. The circular postmark on the 16 January 1950 cover is 33–34 mm in diameter. The four horizontal bars to the right of the circle are approximately 6 mm on center. Although these are not identical cancellations—note the spacing of “Maine”—they are of a similar enough type to be grouped here. Earlier or later postmarks of this style are sought for listing here.
