   Grantee: John Simmons
   Description: 5 acres, more or less, at border of what is now Forest Pond
      Beginning at a stake and stones standing on the east line of said lot [14] about 1 rod north of the brook which is the outlet of Dix Pond [now called Forest Pond];
      then N 62° W about 6 rods to the town road as now [1824] traveled from Jacob Leech's to Timothy Huntress's;
      then southwesterly by said road about 12 rods to a large pine stump;
      then S 9° E about 80 rods across the aforesaid pond to the east line of said lot;
      then north to the bound first mentioned.
   Note: Included in the deed is “the privilege of flowing said pond all that shall be necessary for the benefit of any machinery”.

      Beginning at a stake and stones standing on the easterly side of the county road and about 2 rods northerly from the range line that runs between said lots [Range 4, Lot 14 and Range 5, Lot 14];
      then east 15 rods to a stake and stones;
      then south 6 rods;
      then west about 9 rods to the aforesaid county road;
      then northwesterly by said road to the bound first mentioned.
