   Note: Soon after Mary Bridge sold nine lots to Nathaniel and Abigail Bemis, Solomon and Sarah Flagg, Isaac and Anne Sanderson, Nabby Bent, and Nancy Bent, Nathaniel and Abigail Bemis purchased the shares of the other owners. Two questions need to be answered: (1) Why does the deed of Nabby Bent and Nancy Bent refer to “fifteenths” instead of “fifths”? and (2) Why does the deed of Nabby Bent and Nancy Bent to Nathaniel and Abigail Bemis predate the deed that conveyed the land to the Bents et al.?
