      Beginning at the northeast corner of said lot [10];
      then west in the north line of said lot to a stake and stones standing at the northeast corner of Samuel Hill Jr.’s homestead farm in the dividing line of said lot and in the middle of said north line;
      then south in said division line parallel with the east line of said lot to a large rock being N 16° E 3 rods and 19 links from said Hill’s barn marked S. H.;
      then N 80° E 10 rods and 5 links to a stake standing in a town road now [1827] traveled across said lot by said Hill’s dwelling house and by Timothy Eastman’s dwelling house;
      then southerly in said town road as now traveled to the south line of said lot;
      then east in said south line to the southeast corner of said lot;
      then north in the east line of said lot to the first mentioned bound.
   Note: John Parsons mortgaged this parcel with James Starr Jr. on the same day that he purchased it from him.
