(updated 5 July 2015)

Welcome to the Hartford Cemeteries web site. The purpose of this site is to provide basic cemetery information and pertinent notes so individual researchers will not have to "reinvent the wheel" by tracking down the same material that others have already found.

Routes 140 and 219 meet/diverge in Hartford, and directions below are given from that point. (The other meeting/diverging point for Routes 140 and 219 is in Sumner, just west of the Hartford-Sumner border.)

All information, especially source material, for inclusion in this web page should be sent to info@vfthomas.com or mailed to “Hartford Cemeteries; V. F. Thomas Co.; 183 Pleasant St., Apt. 1; Canton, ME 04221”.

A little work by each of us will save a lot of work for all of us.

Thank you to Lianne Bedard, town clerk of Hartford, for her help with the information below.
