Property Transactions

When Bartholomy and Maria Theresa DeGregoire settled up with those who were living on Mount Desert Island land east of the French Line, Robert Young purchased a lot containing 100 acres for "five Spanish milled dollars" on 28 March 1792 [Hancock County Registry of Deeds book 1, pages 389–390]. He also purchased a .75 acre parcel for 3 pounds from William Hull on 16 March 1793 [Hancock County Registry of Deeds book 2, page 143].
