Stanley Savage, 75
RAMONA - Stanley Frederick Savage, 75, died Thursday, April 19, 2001. Born Oct. 18, 1925, in Brewer, Maine, he lived in Ramona for five months. He lived in Pismo Beach previously and Los Banos for more than 30 years. He served in World War II in Navy Aviation, stationed in the South Pacific. He received his pilot's license in the 1960s. He retired from Pacific Telephone after working for 30 years. Mr. Savage is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Mary Savage of Ramona; daughters and sons-in-law Annette and Rev. Dewayne Williams of Ramona and Linda and Will Wakeling of San Clemente; son and daughter-in-law Ken and Marylou Savage of Clovis; sisters Marguerite Worthington of Texas and Donna Williamson of Maine; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Viewing is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Bonham Bros. & Lee Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Bonham Bros. & Lee Ramona Chapel with his son-in-law the Rev. Dewayne Williams of Main Street Church of Ramona officiating. Graveside services will follow at Nuevo Memory Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations to the Main Street Church, 825 Main St., Ramona, CA 92065. Bonham Bros. & Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
