Death Data
There is a gravestone for Sarah "Sally" Dix in Dix Burying Ground and in Hillrest Cemetery, both in Tremont. After Sarah's death, George remarried, and he and his second wife are buried in Hillrest Cemetery. It is likely that Sarah's name on a gravestone in Hillrest Cemetery is to acknowledge her but not to be an indication of her burial place, which is probably in Dix Burying Ground.
