      then following the shore to the first-mentioned bound.
   Note: Solomon Stanwood mortgaged this parcel with Peleg Stanwood on 2 April 1821 (41:273), and the mortgage was discharged on 17 November 1838 (margin of 41:273).

         then following said Stanwood line to the shore;

            Beginning at the shore at a stake and stone, formerly the bound between Stephen Higgins and Henry Higgins;
            first running N 65° W 5 rods to a pine tree;
            then S 15° W 347 rods to an oak stump;
            then S 75° E 30 rods, formerly to David Stanwood’s western line;
            then following said Stanwood’s line to the shore;
            then around the shore to the first bound.
      second parcel:
            Another piece of land lying on the eastern side of the above-named lot, and adjoining the same, 8.5 rods in width extending from the shore to the head of the lot.
   Note: This transaction involved a mortgage (see 80:348 below).
   Grantor obtained the 50-acre parcel via 42:311 and the 8.5-rod-wide strip via ???:???
   Grantee disposed of these parcels to his wife, Lydia C. Bunker, likely via the settlement of his estate.

   Description: mortgage of two adjoining parcels (that were sold/purchased via 80:347 above) - 50 acres, more or less, “with the buildings thereon”, plus an 8.5-rod-wide strip along its eastern side
      first parcel:
            Beginning at the shore at a stake and stone, formerly the bound between Stephen Higgins and Henry Higgins;
            first running N 65° W 5 rods to a pine tree;
            then S 15° W 347 rods to an oak stump;
            then S 75° E 30 rods, formerly to David Stanwood’s western line;
            then following his line to the shore;
            then around the shore to the first bound.
      second parcel:
            Another piece of land lying on the eastern side of the above-named lot, and adjoining the same, 8.5 rods in width extending from the shore to the head of the lot.
   Note: This mortgage was almost certainly discharged (deed to be located) because Lydia C. Bunker, wife of Charles Bunker, was able to sell these adjoining parcels in 1868 (see 131:263 below).

            then running N 65° W 5 rods to William Douglass’s land;
            then S 15° W by said Douglass’s land 340 rods to an oak stump;
            then S 75° E 30 rods to what was formerly called David Stanwood’s western line;
            then following said Stanwood’s line to the shore to a cedar stake;
            then following the shore in a northerly direction to the first-mentioned bound.
      second parcel:
            Another piece of land lying on the eastern side of the above-named lot, and adjoining the same, 8.5 rods in width extending from the shore to the head of the lot.
   Grantor obtained these parcels likely via inheritance from Charles Bunker, her husband (see 80:347 above), who died between approximately 1854 and 1860.
