Note: Asa Higgins used this parcel as collateral for a mortgage (72
:372–373; January 1842) with James Hamor. The discharge was recorded in the margin of 72:373 and was reported to have been on 31 January 1852.

then runs following said line according to my [Asa Higgins’s deed from James and Clarissa Hamor and dated 15 March 1833, N 45° E but by compass this day N 49° E 49 rods to a stake and stone at the shore;
then following said shore southerly about 13 rods or far enough to make 12 rods on a line at right angle with the side lines to a stake and stone;
Then S 49° W by compass to the above-named road to a stake and stone;
then following said road northerly 13 rods and 3 links or 12 rods on a square to the first-mentioned bound.
