This parcel contains land on both sides of Duck Brook from its mouth to nearly halfway to Eagle Lake, then called Young’s Pond.

1:16–17
   Date: 23 September 1790
   Town: Bar Harbor
   Grantor: Ezra Young
   Grantee: William Hodgkins
   Description: 100 acres
      Beginning at the corner of said land, at a corner of Robert Young’s land on Frenchman Bay, so-called;
      then on the dividing line between said Robert Young and said Ezra Young to land of Mr. and Madame [De]Gregoire;
      then to said Frenchman Bay.
   Notes:
      1. Presumably the line runs along the land of the DeGregoires so as to make the whole parcel 100 acres.
      2. It appears that Ezra Young sold this land to William Hodgkins before it was legally his other than in his position as a settler.
