runs first following [the] town road S 10° W 4 rods to a stake;
then N 80° W 5.5 rods to a stake;
then N 10° E 4 rods;
then S 80° E to [the] town road and place of beginning.
Note: “meaning and intending that the lot hereby connveyed shall be held exclusively as a school houst lot, on which is to be erected a Public School House”

runs on said road S 10° W 4 rods to a stake;
then N 80° W 5.5 rods to a stake;
then N 10° E 4 rods;
then S 80° E to the town road aforesaid at the place of beginning.
Note: “to have and to hold the above granted premises with the new School House thereon erected by me [Jonathan Ignatius Stevens] to the said Hulls Cove School District as a free gift for the sole purpose of a school house and lot and to be forfeited if used for any other purpose”

then N 54° 11' W but always following the northeasterly line of land of The Hulls Cove Neighborood Asociation, 116.6 feet to an iron pipe driven in the ground, said iron pipe markinng the northeasterly corner of land of Henry Macul;
then N 52° W but always following the northeasterly lie of land of said Macul, 169.3 feet to a stone bound set in the ground;
then N 21° 59' E 164.2 feetto a stone bound set in the ground in the southwesterly line of land of George Hamor, 276.1 feet to a stone bound set in the ground in the westerly side line of State Highway #3;
