Location. East of Route 102 and south of outlet of Seal Cove Pond. UTM: 19T 0547996, 4904034; Lat./Long.: N 44°17′16.7″ x W 68°23′54.4″

Directions. From the intersection of Routes 3 and 102/198 at the north end of Mount Desert Island, go straight ahead (south) onto Routes 102/198. In approximately 5.2 miles (and at the south end of the village of Somesville), turn right onto Pretty Marsh Road (Route 102). Travel about 7.3–7.4 miles to the first drive on the left after the bridge. Take the left fork, and watch on the right for a mowed path that leads to the cemetery.

History.
   1808 - This cemetery is on land that was part of lot #18, a 95-acre parcel, on the 1808 Salem Towne Jr. map.
   2001 June 6 - Stroud Family, LLC, sold to Woodglen Group, LP, a parcel of land (Hancock County Registry of Deeds book 3091, pages 210–214), but “[e]xcepting and reserving, however, from the premises above described as conveyed, the Flye Cemetery Lot, so-called, as heretofore reserved and excepted, six and one-half rods square, in the center of which, an equal distance from all sides, the Flye Cemetery is located; also a right of way from the highway, not less than one rod wide, following said private way from said highway to the Flye homestead house, to a point directly west form [sic] the west gate of said Cemetery; thence east to said gate.”
   2010 August 10 - The Town of Tremont acquired the above-described cemetery (book 5461, page 117): “I, Millard Billings, in my capacity as Town Manager of the Town of Tremont, duly authorized; hereby confirm: All in accordance with Title 30A; Section 3107 the Town of Tremont, after having advertised its intent to acquire the hereinafter described abandoned cemetery as required by the Statute and has performed the due diligence also required by said Statute; and having received no objection to said acquisition; has thereby acquired the following described abandoned cemetery in said Town of Tremont:
   “The so-called Flye Cemetery in said Town which is six and one-half rods square and bounded on four side by the land of Woodglen Group, LP, and accessed by a right-of-way from the highway, not less than one rod wide, following said private way from said highway to the Flye homestead house, to a point directly west from the west gate of said cemetery; thence east to the gate; as referenced in a deed recorded in the Hancock County Registry of Deeds in Book 3091 page[s] 210[–214], and as shown on the Town of Tremont Tax Maps: as a cemetery within Lot 47A on Map 9.”

Notes. A white, wood fence encloses the cemetery. The grass is (1999) well maintained, but several stones are laying on the ground.
