Location. Along south side of private driveway, east of Dix Point Road. UTM: 19T 0547923, 4900695; Lat./Long.: N 44°15′28.5″ x W 68°23′58.8

Directions. From the intersection of Routes 3 and 102/198 at the north end of Mount Desert Island (just after you cross the bridge from Thompson Island), go straight ahead (south) onto Routes 102/198. In approximately 5.2 miles (and at the south end of the village of Somesville), turn right onto Pretty Marsh Road (Route 102). Travel on Route 102 about 9.0–9.1 miles and, in a sharp curve to the left, turn right onto Dix Point Road. In nearly 0.5 miles, where the town road ends, a private drive is on the left (east). The cemetery is along the right (south) side of this driveway as one approaches the house.

History. The cemetery is on land that was part of lot #22, a 95-acre parcel, according to the 1808 Salem Towne Jr. map.

Notes. There is no enclosure around this cemetery. It is cleared but not mowed. All stones are standing, but with one (Hannah APPLETON's) propped against a rock because it has broken at the base. The boundary is marked by iron rods.
