Location. South of Route 3, approximately north of Bear Island. UTM: 19T 0558352, 4904368; Lat./Long.: N 44°17′24.8″ x W 68°16′07.0″

Directions. From the intersection of Routes 3 and 102/198 at the north end of Mount Desert Island, go straight ahead (south) onto Routes 102/198. In approximately 4.2–4.3 miles, at the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 102/198 and 198, turn left on Route 198. Follow this road for about 5.6–5.7 miles to the intersection (on the left) with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3. In approximately 1.4 miles, the graves are on the right between the road and the water. They are not easily visible from the road.

History.

Notes. The stones are beneath some northern white-cedar trees in an unmowed area at a private residence.
