Location. Along west side of Oak Hill Road, just north of intersection of Oak Hill Road and Whitney Farm Road. UTM: 19T 0550997, 4913386; Lat./Long.: N 44°22′19.0″ x W 68°21′35.7″

Directions. From the intersection of Routes 3 and 102/198 at the north end of Mount Desert Island, go straight ahead (south) onto Routes 102/198. In approximately 4.7–4.8 miles (0.5 miles of which are south of the traffic light at the intersection of Routes 198 and 102/198), turn right onto Oak Hill Road. The cemetery is on the left in about 1.5–1.6 miles.

History. This cemetery is found in the 1881 Colby Atlas. It is bordered on the east by Oak Hill Road and on the other three sides by land described in a 1987 deed (Hancock County Registry of Deeds book 1673, page 305), which referred to it as "a private cemetery". It is nearly rectangular and contains approximately 5300 square feet.

Notes. This cemetery's boundary is marked on three sides with an unpainted, badly deteriorating, wood post and rail fence. It appears, however, that this was, at one time, a substantial fence, with each post set onto an iron rod that was driven into a rock. Much of the groundcover is moss and needs little attention, but evidence of leaf removal indicates that this cemetery receives some care. As of 29 July 2007 the cemetery appeared to have been mowed and trimmed.
